Objectives & Outcomes

Expand ability to impact and serve more youth and their families in rural outlying communitiies:

• Expand after-school transportation services to Pavo, Ochlocknee, Boston and Meigs
• Purchase two Mini Buses
• Provide on-going operating cost for transportation and maintenance

Increase staffing to provide more specialized services:

• Hire an Academic Outcomes Director to increase academic support
• Hire a Performing Arts Instructor to increase exposure to the arts
• Hire a Data Entry Clerk for improved automatic member tracking services
• Hire two certified (CDL) bus drivers for expanded transportation services

Hire and retain high quality staff who work directly with our members:

• Bring part-time staff hourly wages up to market parity
• Increase staff development and training

Address our capital improvement needs:

• Renoivate the Youth and Teen Center facilities and provide material upgrades
• Purchase computers and activity furnishings to provide up-to-date technology and learning environments in all classroom areas

Increase financial sustainability:

• Increase Operational Endowment, housed at the Community Foundation of South Georgia, to $1M

*Implement a Virtual Learning Program:

• Hire and train one full-time Lead Coach
• Hire and train six full-time Para-Professionals or Para-Equivalent
• Purchase 10 chromebooks

*As the Covid-19 health pandemic continues to evolve, our top priority has not changed: the health, safety and well-being of the youth and families we serve. While closely monitoring and adhering to the recommendations of the Centers For Disease Control, and local, state, and federal government, our goal is to coninue our mission – to serve those who need us most – both during and after the pandemic. During these times of uncertainlty, we are still dedicated to doing Whatever It Takes to ensure that our youth have the support they need. To effectively adapt to the evolving needs impacted by Covid-19, our Investing in Great Futures Comprehensive Campaign has been revised to include operational enhancements to implement virtual learning programming, therefore increasing the total campaign budget by an additional $160,000 for the entire 2020-2021 school year.
