Thomasville Youth Center
Our Thomasville Youth Center strives to make everyday count for members, especially those who need us most. Our goal is to ensure that all children ages 6-12 who walk through our doors achieve academic success in school, develop good character and citizenship, and live healthier, more active lifestyles. While there are success stories to tell virtually every day our Clubs are open, it is necessary to demonstrate our impact through research and evaluation.

The following information provides a snapshot of the impact we are making in the lives of youth through our programs and services provided daily in our Clubs! The most recent National Youth Outcomes Initiative survey asked members ages 13-18 across the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s southeast region to respond anonymously on how well they are doing in our programs in four critical focus areas:
Academic Success
- 91% are on track for high school graduation
- 94% enjoy learning new things
- 98% believe they can do well in school
Good Character & Leadership
- 48% volunteer at least once monthly
- 80% say they do what’s right, even when nobody is watching
- 81% believe they can make a positive difference in their community

- 83% say eating healthy is important to them
